A MAN and woman are due to appear at court following an alleged drugs bust in Irvine.
It comes after officers from Ayrshire's Proactive Crime Team searched a property at Parterre - a short distance from High Street - during the evening of Friday, September 22.
Officers say a quantity of cannabis and cocaine, with an estimated value of around £3,500, was recovered.
Following the find, a man aged 30 and woman, 29, were arrested and charged in connection with alleged drug offences.
The pair are both due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court today, Monday September 25, to face the charges.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Officers act on community intelligence and concerns about drugs.
