AN IRVINE taxi firm have launched a new promotion in a bid to give something back to their customers.

Irvine TOA Taxis have just confirmed their new 'TOA Mystery Taxi' initiative - which could see locals offered a free journey from the company.

The promotion, which is entering a trial period, will be run on two days throughout each month.

One of the company's vehicles will be selected at random - and the lucky customers who end up in the passenger's seat during the day won't have to pay a penny.

The promotion will be open to all customers who phone a taxi, or get in at the company's rank at the Asda supermarket in town.

It is set to launch today, Wednesday September 27, and unsuspecting customers won't know if their luck is in until they get to their destination.

A TOA Irvine representative commented: "At Irvine TOA we’re thrilled to announce that we are shaking things up in Irvine bringing you an exciting new promotion to enhance your taxi experience like never before!
