An emergency road closure has been put in place on a road connecting North and East Ayrshire.
The road closure, confirmed by East Ayrshire Council, is in place on the C20 road between Cunninghamhead and Kilmaurs from now until October 20 for emergency bridge parapit repairs.
The restrictions will only be in force at times when the appropriate signs are displayed. Due to the nature of the works access will be via a diversion route only
An alternative route will be signposted from Cunninghamhead on to the B769, with a right turn towards the U23, and a right turn on to the U23 before coming back to the C20.
