AN IRVINE business owner has been accused of running his premises without the proper licence.
Colin Macdonald, 59, is yet to respond to the charge after the case called at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court earlier this week.
Mr Macdonald, of Logan Drive in Troon, faces an allegation of, without reasonable excuse, carrying out his business as a dealer in second hand goods and articles without having the licence required.
The address listed in court papers for the business was 83 East Road - best known as Irvine Car Centre.
He was not present in court, and no instruction was given on how he intends to plea, so the case was continued without plea and will recall at a later date.
