A RECYCLING firm based in Irvine says it's delighted to welcome a batch of new recruits to its team after bringing together two firms under one group last year.
Optimum Eco Group brought together CCL (North) Ltd and Restructa Ltd, two specialist recycling companies, under one group ownership last year.
Specialising in electronic and electrical equipment recycling, the company has taken on nine new team members, along with eight modern apprentices.
The new additions to the business are business development manager Sarah Donald; health, safety, environment and quality manager Rebecca Pollock; server and network engineer Stuart Littlejohn; technical sales administrator Emma Barrie; WEEE (waste electrical and electronic equipment) recycling operatives George McNiven (driver) and Scott Keenan, and display recycling operatives Nathan Taylor, Jack Bowley and Keiren Hendron.
They are joined by digital recycling modern apprentices Peter Alcavicis, Logan Harwood, Jason Kerr, Oscar Pitt, Samuel Noble, James NcNulty, Connor Grant and Robert Scott, who will be supported on their career journeys as they learn about different areas of the business.
Bruce McLean, managing director of Optimum Eco Group, said: “As our business continues to thrive and grow, we are excited to welcome these skilled new recruits to our team. Our people are the key to our success.
“As well as a raft of new appointments on the operational side, we are proud to welcome a cohort of new apprentices on board as part of our commitment to young people, nurturing new talent and supporting the industry’s future stars.”
