A recruitment day is to be held next month to find eight new apprentices aged 16-19 for Irvine's computer recycling business CCL North.
The event on Tuesday, November 7, be will held in partnership with QA Scotland in a bid to boost youth employment in the area.
“If you are interested in building a career for a reputable company, this is a great career opportunity,” said David Cunningham of QA.
“It may be that want to work locally, earn a wage while gaining a qualification, and kick start a technical career. If so, then check out what is on offer in Irvine.”
Interested young people can register for this via Eventbrite by searching CCL, location Irvine.
CCL are inviting young people who are ready for employment now to join them where they can explore the tech industry, learn what it is like to be an apprentice, and even secure interviews on the spot.
There will be a workshop on the day explaining the apprenticeship.
There will also be an opportunity to speak with the trainer and the employer, an introduction to the role and a selection panel for those who would like to be considered.
If successful, you’ll be joining an industry-leading computer recycling business that cares for its staff, customers, local community and the global environment.
“If you have not yet decided on your future, or if you are in an interim job, waiting for the right opening, then it may be that an apprenticeship is the way forward. says David Cunningham.
“And if you think you don’t have any relevant qualifications or experience, that is not a barrier, with an apprenticeship you learn on the job.”
Interested young people can register for this via the CCL/QA Eventbrite page at QA Apprenticeships and CCL North Recruitment and Selection Day.
