A MAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car outside an Irvine supermarket.
Police Scotland confirmed the collision, which is understood to have taken place outside of the entrance to the Asda store and Rivergate Shopping Centre.
The crash took place earlier this afternoon, Friday November 3, and involved one vehicle and the male pedestrian. who is currently receiving treatment at hospital.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to a report of a crash involving a car and a pedestrian outside the Rivergate Shopping Centre, Irvine around 1.35pm on Friday, 3 November, 2023.
“Emergency services attended and a 36-year-old man was taken by ambulance to hospital for treatment.”
