The Ayrshire Hospice has announced that it will no longer collect furniture donations as it looks to reduce its carbon footprint.
Supporters are instead asked to bring their donations directly to the charity's shops throughout the region.
The hospice's Ayr shop will continue to accept all sellable donations, but will no longer be uplifting or collecting from donators.
The charity's Crown Street donation centre in Ayr will now be open from 10am to 4pm, where donators can drive in and give in person.
For larger items like furniture, the charity is asking people to email photos to retail@ayrshirehospice.org.
A spokesperson said: "Our team will assess your donation and inform you if we can accept it.
"This ensures that we can maximise the value of your generosity while managing our space efficiently.
"We are extremely grateful for the overwhelming support we receive through your donations.
"Your contributions make a profound impact on our ability to provide vital care and support to those who need it most.
"Thank you for embracing these changes with us as we move towards a more sustainable and environmentally-conscious future.
"Together, we can continue to make a difference in our community of Ayrshire and Arran.
"Your support means everything to us, and we look forward to welcoming you to our shops and donation centre."
A full list of the shops and opening hours can be found on the Ayrshire Hospice website.
