SANTA Claus is coming to town! In Irvine at least...

Jolly Saint Nick will be setting up a grotto at the Rivergate Shopping Centre later this month and will remain at the Irvine mall until mid-December.

No booking will be necessary at the grotto which will be in place over a number of weekends in both November and December.

There will also be no charge to visit Santa at the grotto but though the shopping centre is accepting donations, with all money raised going to partner charity Cash for Kids Ayrshire.

The grotto will be open from 11am each Saturday and 12pm each Sunday from November 25 until Sunday, December 17.

This will be open until 3pm each day however to allow everyone in the queue to be seen by Santa, last entry to the grotto queue will be 2.15pm daily.
