Pensioners in Bourtreehill were celebrating 20 years ago after the new drop-in Healthy Living Centre was opened. The centre would be run by Betty Weir and Jean Reader, who run Bourtreehill’s Age Concern drop-in, to encourage older people in the village to get more active.
