AN IRVINE man is awaiting his fate after he admitted being in possession of indecent images of children.
Bryan Morgan, 36, pleaded guilty to a pair of charges when he appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court earlier this week.
The first charge states that Morgan, of Barbeth Place in the town, took - or permitted to be taken - indecent images or pseudo-images of children.
Morgan committed the offence at his home, at an address in Camus Road in Dunbeg, near Oban, and elsewhere over a period from September 19, 2019 until July 14, 2020.
Morgan pled guilty to a further charge of being in possession of indecent photographs or pseudo photographs of children at these same place.
This charge spans over a longer period of nearly three years - from the same date in September 2019 until May 5 last year.
Sentencing was deferred following Morgan's guilty pleas and he will return to court in the new year.
