***UPDATE: Stuart has been found safe and well, according to police.***

Police in Ayrshire are appealing for help tracing a man who has been reported missing in Irvine.

Stuart Anderson was most recently seen in the Parterre area of the town around 4.20am on Saturday, December 23.

Police say the 25-year-old the area left on foot and his subsequent movements are unknown. 

Stuart is described as being 5ft 8in tall with black hair and a beard.

He was known to be wearing black cargo trousers and white Nike branded trainers.

Inspector Michael Cowan from Irvine Police Station, said: “We are concerned about Stuart's welfare and would urge anyone who believes they may have seen or spoken to him to get in touch.

“Anyone who can help is asked to call 101, quoting reference 0676 of 23 December, 2023.”
