A popular Irvine ice cream shop has reopened.
Vanilla Joe's was closed for two weeks at the beginning of this year to give their team a well-deserved break.
The Montgomery Street shop closed on Thursday, January 11, but the shutters were raised again today (Thursday, January 25).
The team is now back and once again scooping some of the best artisan gelato Ayrshire has to offer.
In true Vanilla Joe's style, they have returned with the perfect recipe to celebrate Burns Night - a deep orange, Irn Bru-flavored gelato.
Additionally, they are offering a Cranachan-inspired option, rippled with toasted oatmeal, raspberry variegato, and fresh raspberries.
It appears locals are thrilled to have the shop back, with many already planning trips despite the cold weather, eager to get their sweet treat fix.
