Drivers have been warned to expect disruption as two sections of a busy Irvine route are to close in the coming days.
Sections of the B7081 Annick Road will be temporarily closed as "significant roadworks" are carried out.
North Ayrshire Council are advising road users to plan ahead while the work takes place over the coming two weeks.
They are asking drivers to observe the diversions that will be in place and allow appropriate time for journeys while improvement works are carried out.
The first phase of the work will get underway on Monday, January 29, starting at 8am.
This will see the temporary closure of the B7081 Annick Road between the junction at the Annickbank Campus and the junction at MacKintosh Place.
This closure will be in place until 6pm on Friday, February 2, unless work is completed ahead of schedule.
The second phase of work will then begin at 8am on Monday, February 5.
This will see Annick Road closed between the Annick Roundabout and the Golffields Road junction.
The road will remain closed until 6pm on Friday, February 9, again unless work is completed ahead of time.
