A much-loved Stewarton bookshop is celebrating after being shortlisted at a prestigious British Book Awards.
The Book Nook on the town's High Street is a finalist in the Independent Bookshop of the Year category at the awards.
The business regularly hosts visiting authors for talks and sessions at venues around the town.
Owner Sarah Frame said: "I am overjoyed that The Book Nook is again short-listed in the prestigious British Book Awards, in the category of Independent Bookshop of the Year.
"This means so much and I am sincerely grateful to everyone whose support for The Book Nook has helped make this possible.
"All indie bookshops are very special places and loved by their communities, so I am delighted for my fellow short-listees."
The bookshop was also named Favourite Family Business of the Year 2022 by ShopAppy.
