Work is set to start on an extension to Stewarton Medical Centre next week.
Four new consulting rooms are being added to the rear of the building, with the works expected to last around four months.
Works will start on Monday, March 25 and car parking facilities at the medical centre will be impacted.
In a message to patients, NHS Ayrshire and Arran urged patients to only park in available spaces.
It read: "This will have an impact on the car parking within the facility with reduced parking spaces available.
"The car park must be kept clear to ensure the duty doctor and nursing team can come in and out without delay."
