Ayrshire celebrated Trans Pride in style at the weekend with a march through the streets of Kilmarnock.
The colourful parade left from Howard Park at 12.30pm, heading to the centre of town, where a sold-out market event was held at Ayrshire College, filled with stalls and including workshops and discussions.
Both events, organised by Trans Pride Scotland, were free to attend, family-friendly, and alcohol-free.
Trans activists and supporters took to the streets, along with representatives from other organisations including such at Scottish Trans and the Scottish Trade Union Council LGBT Committee. A Scottish Government representative was also there to answer questions.
A spokesperson for Trans Pride Scotland said after the event: "Thank you, each and every one of you who attended what was a very successful march in Kilmarnock.
"A great chance to meet friends, make new friends and celebrate Trans Joy together.
"And though this year's Trans Pride march and event may be over, our work to campaign for and stand up for trans rights certainly is not. We will soon be busy planning next year's event so look out for that!"
