St Winning's Primary's staff and pupils gathered to say farewell to school janitor Henry Parrott on his retiral just before the Easter holidays.
The Kilwinning youngsters marked the occasion with songs, poems, dances and, of course, cake.
At St Winning's spokesperson said on X (formerly Twitter): "We welcomed our VIP, Mr P, to his retirement assembly today.
"We treated him to a showcase of talent: personalised songs, poems, dance routines, cake and fond memories.
"We are really going to miss you but we look forward to you visiting us soon."
