THREE people have been arrested following a drugs bust in Irvine.
Two males and one female were charged after Irvine priority policing team attended an address in the town shortly at 9.10am on Friday, April 5.
A warrant was executed at this location and a quantity of controlled drugs were recovered.
Officers say that these had a potential street value of around £40,000.
The two men, aged 57 and 30, and female, aged 26, appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, April 8 to face charges for the first time.
Following the operation, police in the local area say they will continue to target the supply of drugs on our streets.
PC Masson said: “We continue to target those engaged in the supply of controlled drugs on our streets.
"Police Scotland rely on the support of the public to help us continue this work in our communities.
"The public can be assured that any information provided will be treated in confidence."
