THREE people have appeared in court following a £40,000 drugs discovery in Irvine.
Police Scotland had earlier confirmed that two men and one woman had been arrested and charged following the discovery in the town at 9.10am on Friday, April 5.
Officers later confirmed that the discovery was made in the Dick Crescent area of the town.
A warrant was executed and a quantity of controlled drugs were recovered which police stated had a potential street value of around £40,000.
The trio arrested in connection appeared at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Monday, April 8, where they faced charges for the first time.
Nadine McConville, 26, Thomas McCulloch, 30, and 57-year-old Craig Hutchison each face two charges of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
None of the trio entered any plea or declaration in relation to either charge.
They were committed for further examination and released on bail, and will return to court to face the charges again at a later date.
