AN IRVINE salon team have their sights set on being named the best in the country.
It comes after Salon Hermosa celebrated a nomination for The Nation's Hair and Beauty Awards in the Salon of the Year (Scotland) category.
The awards look to recognise excellence in the hair and beauty industry, making this finalist nomination a remarkable achievement.
Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony in Manchester on July 7.
Owned and operated by local woman Nadine Cooney and her team, all at Salon Hermosa say they are "incredibly honoured" to be recognised amongst the nation's best.
Part of the Irvine community for eight years now, having previously operated as Nadine's House of Hair and Beauty, a move to Eglinton Street alongside a rebrand last year appears to have paid dividends.
Nadine commented: "This nomination is a testament to the hard work and dedication of this talented team of stylists and professionals.
"We all hope we can go one step further and bring this prestigious award home to Irvine!"
The salon team are now looking for votes ahead of the big final, more information on this is available via the Salon Hermosa Facebook page.
