A MAN has been left injured after an attack with a blade in Irvine.
Police are appealing for information after a man aged 43 was injured in Irvine's town centre.
The victim required treatment for injuries at the scene of the incident, believed to have involved a bladed weapon, outside The Carrick pub at around 7pm on Wednesday, May 15.
Detective Constable Ross Keenan of Saltcoats CID said: “Extensive enquiries are being carried out to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
“We are appealing to anyone in the area at the time who may have witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to get in touch.
“I would also urge anyone with dashcam footage or private CCTV that could assist our investigation to contact officers.”
