An Ayrshire bakery has launched a special product to support the good work of the Crosshouse Children's Fund.
Brownings the Bakers is helping to celebrate the fifth anniversary of the charity by selling limited edition empire biscuits across all their stores this week.
From Monday, May 20, customers can purchase an exclusive Crosshouse Children’s Fund empire biscuit, with 60p from each sale going to brave, young patients.
John Gall, Brownings Managing Director, said, ‘We are delighted to be able to support the amazing Crosshouse Children’s Fund on their fifth anniversary.
"The charity have already done so much at Crosshouse Hospital, and they have fantastic plans for the future to make the experience of visiting hospital a little less scary for young children.
"Sixty pence from every empire we sell next week will be donated to the charity so we hope our customers get behind us to help raise much needed funds."
