Big-hearted Irvine fundraiser Jim Ryland set off on a 750 mile charity cycle across Europe in May 2009, alongside three colleagues from Prestwick’s Spirit Aerosystems. They were raising money for still-birth charity SANDS and Irvine’s Rainbow House.
The youngsters from Kilwinning U11 girls football team were presented with the winners trophy at a 2009 Welsh football tournament by former Celtic manager John Barnes.
