Kilwinning girl Leonie Neill was crowned Segdoune Queen in front of a massive crowd in June 2004.
Pupils at Castlepark Primary took part in a rock and pop tribute night in 2004. And the winners were Russel Keane, Alan Crookston and Nathan Murray, who took to the stage as rockers Good Charlotte to belt out chart hit The Anthem.
Toddlers and their mums had a great time at the new Mini-Movers classes at the Magnum Centre in June 2004.
Pupils from Loudoun Montgomery Primary School took time out from burying their head in school books in June 2004 to take part in a special gymnastics class.
The Neo-Natal Unit at Irvine’s Ayrshire Central Hospital was more than £300 better off in June 2004 thanks to a warm-hearted group of students from James Watt College in Kilwinning. Joanne Hughes, Lesley Millar, Janet Morrison and Louise Thomson raised the cash by taking part in a sponsored cycle round Millport.
The 2004 Marymass Queen elect was revealed as St Michael’s Academy pupil Shiobhan King. She is pictured celebrating with her four Marys, Colette Robertson, Kirsty Roy, Emma Robertson and Linzi McGowan.
