A FORMER Kilwinning church hall has been listed for sale.

The old Erskine Church building has been brought on to the property market by the Church of Scotland this week.

Later known as the Kilwinning Evangelical Church hall, the property was only recently taken out of use before being put up for sale.

The property is on the market for offers over £75,000.

Comprising a main hall, porch, kitchen, WCs and a storage room, the property sale also includes a small piece of land at the back of the building.

Irvine Times: The former Erskine Church hall has been listed for sale.

Located on Lauchlan Way, known locally as Garden Square, the hall is ideally located for the amenities within Kilwinning's town centre.

A number of potential uses are mentioned within the property listing, with opportunities opened up due to the premises not being a listed building.

The Church of Scotland description states: "The property could be used, without the necessity of obtaining change of use consent, as a day nursery, day centre, educational establishment, museum or library.

"It also has potential for a variety of other uses, such as retail, commercial or community uses, subject to obtaining the appropriate consents."

The organisation is now accepting offers for the hall, which are to be submitted in writing, or by emailing properties@churchofscotland.org.uk.

The full property listing is available to view online via the Church of Scotland website.
