Every donation and gift given to Ayrshire's MPs in the past five years has now been revealed.
Newly-updated data from the Electoral Commission allows us to take a look into the gifts given to our local MPs up to May 2024.
However, just one of the four SNP MPs who represent Ayrshire have reported any donations in the past five years.
Patricia Gibson, who represents North Ayrshire and Arran, Allan Dorans of Ayr, Carrick and Cumnock, and Alan Brown of Kilmarnock and Loudoun have not received any donations in that time.
However, Dr Philippa Whitford, who is standing down after nine years representing the Central Ayrshire constituency, has reported three donations in the past five years for a number of visits abroad.
Dr Whitford received a donation of £2,123.08 from Medical Aid for Palestinians, which was reported on May 14, 2019.
This was for a visit to the Gaza Strip and the West Bank, for a project which aims to address some of the problems and barriers to Palestinians’ right to health under occupation and blockade, and the challenges which Palestinian women face to accessing diagnosis.
A second donation was reported on May 4, 2022, of £2,776.98 from RESULTS UK for a visit to Washington DC.
This was to attend the replenishment conference of the Global Financing Facility at the Canadian Embassy and a series of meetings with World Bank leadership and CSO groups on the margins of the World Bank Spring Meetings.
Finally, a £1,804.91 donation was reported on June 6, 2022, from UNITE Global Parliamentarians Network to End Infectious Diseases.
This was for a visit to Geneva to attend fringe meetings at the World Health Assembly to discuss pandemic prevention, preparedness and resilience, modernisation of health systems and the protection of human rights, including access to basic healthcare.
Ms Gibson, Mr Dorans and Mr Brown are all standing in the General Election on July 4, but Dr Whitford is retiring after nine years in the Commons.
