KIND-HEARTED staff from Irvine's Primark store have raised thousands of pounds for charity.
The team at the Rivergate Shopping Centre shop have smashed their target by raising £2,713 - so far - for Soccer Aid and UNICEF during an in-store charity cycle.
Thanks to an exercise bike being donated for use by local fitness guru Scott Brown, the hard-working team cycled a total of 449 miles - the distance from the clothing shop to Stamford Bridge in London where the Soccer Aid charity football match will be taking place on Sunday, June 9.
The cycle took place at the store's entrance inside the mall on Friday and Saturday (May 24-25) where a number of other fundraising events took place.
Thanks to a number of generous local businesses showing their support, there were some fantastic prizes to be won at Primark's tombola.
The team are hoping that their efforts can continue to support the fantastic charities with donations still being taken until the Soccer Aid match takes place.
