POLICE are appealing for assistance to trace an Irvine woman last seen over 24 hours ago.
Anne McDonald, from the Castlepark area, was last sighted at around 10.45am on Monday, June 3.
She is described as being white British, around five feet and five inches tall, of a medium build and has long black hair with purple ends.
When last seen, the 54-year-old was known to be wearing a long-sleeved, blue denim dress with buttons down the centre.
Police Scotland say that extensive enquiries are already underway and these have revealed that Anne may frequent town centre areas - and has links to East Ayrshire.
A force spokesperson added: "Anyone with information is asked to call officers at Irvine Police office on the police non-emergency number, 101."
