ORGANISERS of a funfair which was set to visit Irvine have apologised to locals after they were forced to cancel their visit.
Codonas Funfairs were set to visit the town's beach park from June 29 until July 12 - having set up in the area on a number of occasions previously.
However, they announced on Monday, June 24, that they would no longer be operating this date.
A statement said: "Due to unforeseen circumstances, we will not be operating at Irvine Beach Park from June 29 to July 12.
"Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused."
It has not been confirmed as of yet whether any revised date will be organised for the funfair to come to Irvine later this year.
