Two long serving staff members at a primary school in Irvine were given a special farewell by pupils this week as they celebrated their retirement.
Mrs Craigen and Mrs Macnamara have worked at St John Ogilvie Primary School for a combined total of 62 years.
Mrs Craigen has been a class teacher at the school for 32 years, while Mrs Macnamara has been a pupil support teacher at the school in Bourtreehill for 30 years.
A school spokesperson told the Times: "St John Ogilvie Primary school wishes Mrs Macnamara and Mrs Craigen a very happy retirement.
"Both teachers will be extremely missed by staff, pupils and our parents/carers."
Congratulations to both teachers on their long service and excellent work and we wish them both a happy retirement too.
