Stewarton's newest Chinese takeaway has hailed an "amazing" opening weekend.
Papaya Garden in Lainshaw Street opened its doors on June 26 on the site of the former Happy Panda eatery.
The head chef of the new venture previously led the kitchens at La Dragon and Dragon Royale in Kilmarnock and has decided to open a shop of his own.
Wait times of up to four hours were reported over the weekend as Stewartonians flocked to the new takeaway.
A spokesperson said: "Wow Stewarton! What an amazing opening week
"A big thank you to everyone who ordered from us this week, your patience for the long waiting times was much appreciated."
