Irvine's Cooper Craft made a £200 sponsorship donation to talented young footballer Sam Trousdale at their latest meeting.

Sam is set to play for his country later this month, when the Boys and Girls Clubs of Scotland boys' team play against their counterparts from Wales in Port Talbot on Sunday, July 28.

He currently plays for Kilwinning Rangers' under-20 development squad and also made several appearances for the first team last year.

The cheque was presented to Sam by Deacon Russell Collins at the Coopers' monthly committee meeting at the Porthead Tavern in Irvine.
