Stewarton Medical Practice is set to operate on an "emergency only basis" next week.
The practice sent a text message alert to patients early on Friday morning to tell them of the change, due to staff absences.
It read: "Unfortunately due to staff absence within our clinical team, we will be operating on an emergency only basis next week.
"Where possible, please only contact the practice if necessary. Please note, all existing appointments will go ahead as planned.
"Thank you for your patience and understanding."
