FUNDING has been secured to create a new mural in Irvine.
The town's locality team are now appealing to locals to attend an event to discuss ideas for the project.
The mural is to be created at the entrance to the Towerlands Community Centre in the Bourtreehill area of the town.
The meeting to discuss ideas for the artwork will take place on Wednesday, July 17, from 1-2.30pm, at the centre.
A spokesperson said: "Broomlands and Bourtreehill Community Association have funding to create a new mural at the entrance of Towerlands Community Centre.
"This session will be about generating ideas for the mural based on groups who use the community centre and things in the local community that matter to people."
