AN IRVINE man is set to stand trial accused of assaulting two people and a police officer at a Madness gig.

David Greenwood, 45, allegedly committed the attacks at Glasgow's Hydro arena on December 1 2023.

Court papers claim that Greenwood kicked a man on his leg and that he then tried to "apply bodily pressure" to a woman's knee.

A third charge alleges that he assaulted a female police constable by elbowing her to the head.

Greenwood denied the charges at a hearing at Glasgow Sheriff Court on July 22.

A trial was fixed for November this year by Sheriff Patricia Pryce.
