Stewarton's newest nightclub has thanked revellers for making its grand opening a roaring success. 

6th Avenue in Avenue Square opened to much fanfare on Saturday, July 20, above the popular Stewarton Arms pub. 

The venue was given a full makeover in preparation for opening night, and organisers say it could not have gone better. 

A spokesperson said: "What a successful night, we just can’t believe the support and we can’t thank everyone enough for all the compliments, high spirits and of course your faith in us to provide one hell of a night out.

"A big thanks to our DJ, bouncers, staff, helpers along the way and our workmen that got the place looking nightclub ready. You all made our night an even bigger success.

"Again, thanks for an amazing first night Stewarton and we cannot wait to see you all again on Friday for pay weekend."
