Irvine Clean Up Crew and volunteers from the local area were hard at work at the weekend, making sure the riverside path at the town's Lamont Drive was left litter free.
A total of 13 eager volunteers turned up and managed to clear the area of 21 bags of litter, as well as trolley and a bike.
A spokesperson for the Clean Up Crew said: "Well done to everyone who came to help. We are making a difference!"
