WORK on the latest state-of-the art office space in Irvine’s Annickbank Innovation Campus has now been completed.

The £1.8m development has delivered a new two-storey office pavilion, providing around 350 square metres of modern, energy-efficient office space.

This has been funded by a range of sources including North Ayrshire Council, North Ayrshire Ventures Trust, Scottish Government’s Place Based Investment Programme, Vacant and Derelict Land Fund and Vacant and Derelict Land Fund.

It is the fifth new office development created at the campus. The building has been designed to accommodate bespoke office space within fully flexible self-contained floorplates.

The new office pavilion is low carbon and energy efficient, with an EPCS rating of A+ and Platinum sustainability label. It is now available for occupation and is being marketed for lease by Graham & Sibbald.

Annickbank Innovation Campus is an important location within i3 – Scotland’s largest Life Science enterprise area. 

Two previous phases of development at Annickbank have delivered four energy efficient pavilions providing a total of 2,576 sqm of floor space, a spine road, development platforms and service infrastructure to facilitate development, secondary access roads and parking, and two wind turbines.

“This latest high-quality space will be targeted at SMEs in life sciences and other sectors and will support local business growth. It will also contribute to the green economy and improve the energy efficiency of the council’s commercial estate.”
