Two men and a woman have been arrested after a person was injured during an alleged serious assault in Irvine.
A man aged 41 was taken to hospital following the alleged attack in Bank Street at around 9pm on Thursday (August 8).
Police confirmed a woman, aged 38, and two males aged 35 and 47 were arrested, with enquiries still continuing into the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 8.50pm on Thursday, August 8, 2024, we were called to a report of disturbance in Bank Street, Irvine.
"Emergency services attended and 41-year-old man was taken to Crosshouse Hospital for treatment.
“A 38-year-old woman and two men aged 47 and 35 were arrested and charged in connection with serious assault and were due to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court on Friday, August 9, 2024."
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
