Unique postbox toppers in Stewarton have poked fun at the town's ongoing roadworks saga.
Residents of the Bonnet Toun have been left frustrated in recent years by what they see as too many roadworks and lengthy delays through the town.
Now a talented knitter has put their own stamp on two of the town's postboxes with a creation of their own.
The toppers, situated on High Street and Lainshaw Street, show knitted traffic cones, diversion and road closed signs, and even temporary traffic lights.
One of the toppers even comes with a small poem, which points to problems including deep potholes, and "diversions galore".
