A busy road in the centre of Stewarton is set to be closed for carriageway resurfacing.
Dunlop Street will close between 8am and 5pm each day from its junction with Avenue Street to its junction with High Street.
This will run from September 9 until September 20, with the road open outwith these times.
A no waiting restriction is also in place for the same road at the same time.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ outwith the working zone will be maintained whenever safe and possible to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via Avenue Street, Avenue Square, Main Street, High Street and vice versa.
