A young man was arrested after police seized drugs from a street in Irvine.
The 20-year-old man was charged after officers recovered drugs from an address in Beaton Terrace, after cops were called to an incident at around 1pm on Wednesday.
Officers confirmed a report was sent to the procurator fiscal for the accused to appear in court.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.45pm on Wednesday, 18 September 2024, we were called to attend a property in the Beaton Terrace area of Irvine.
“A quantity of drugs was recovered and a 20-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“He was expected to appear at Kilmarnock Sheriff Court. A report was submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
