A GROUP of Irvine school pupils are set to host a 'pamper and shopping' event in a bid to raise funds.

The evening has been organised by senior students - with assistance from the school parent council and teachers - from the town's Irvine Royal Academy and will be taking place on Thursday, September 26.

Running at the school from 6-8pm, the event is open to all the public to attend with plenty for all to enjoy.

Entry will cost £2 per person, and once inside those heading along can enjoy services from a number of businesses who will be in attendance.

Products and services on offer will include make-up, hair braids and tinsel, face painting, back massages, gift shops and "much more".
