THE owner of a popular business on Irvine's harbourside has said farewell after closing her doors for the final time.
Eileen Mcmeekin says it has been a dream come true to run her own small business Rainbow Arts and Crafts at the Montgomerie Place units.
As well as fantastic crafts, the shop also offered special adults nights and kids time - before the decision to shut up shop was taken by Eileen due to illness.
It was one she made with "a heavy heart" when the announcement was made at the end of last month.
Now, she has bid a fond farewell to all of her customers as the store officially closed on Thursday, September 26.
Eileen said: "Rainbow Arts and Crafts closed their doors for the final time today.
"Remember kids (and adults) 'make your dream come true' they say - Rainbow Arts and Crafts was mine.
"There's always a rainbow somewhere, make your dreams come true."
Despite the business closure Eileen says that the Rainbow Arts and Crafts Facebook page will remain open.
