PLANS have been lodged to help support the erection of a community shed in the grounds of a Stewarton Church.
DACAS Design, on behalf of Thrive Stewarton, has applied to East Ayrshire Council for the change of use.
The application relates to private garden ground at the rear of John Knox Church, which would be altered to church grounds.
This would enable plans for a community shed project to go ahead at the site.
Planning documents state: "The original use of the proposed shed, to be located on private residential land, was intended for the storage of church equipment.
"The land was subsequently given to the church by the adjoining neighbour, and the use of the shed was then changed to storage and community purposes."
The full application can be viewed on East Ayrshire Council's planning portal with reference 24/0436/PP.
