TWO busy Stewarton roads are set to close each day for a fortnight for essential resurfacing work.
Lamberton Road and Ravenscraig Road will close from 8am to 5pm each day from Lamberton Road's junction with Dunlop Road to Ravenscraig Road's junction with Standalane.
A no waiting at any time notice is also in place for Lamberton Road and Ravenscraig Road, on both sides of the road from Lamberton Road's junction with Dunlop Road to Ravenscraig Road's junction with Standalane.
Works are expected to start on October 7 at 8am and are due to last until October 21 at 5pm.
The road is expected to be closed between 8am and 5pm each day with it being open outwith these times.
The days and times of the works may be dependent upon the weather conditions but the order will be implemented only when the appropriate signs are displayed.
Emergency services access will not be affected and access for residents, deliveries and pedestrians’ outwith the working zone will be maintained whenever possible and safe to do so.
An alternative route will be signed via Dunlop Road - Rigg Street - Lainshaw Street - Standalane and vice versa.
