NATIONWIDE Irvine are offering free advice to help families care for dementia victims later this week.
In partnership with Dementia UK, the Bridgegate store will offer clinics from October 27-29.
You don't need to be a customer with Nationwide to benefit. To book an appointment you can visit dementiauk.org/nationwide or pop in to the Irvine branch and they can help book.
Every three minutes someone in the UK develops dementia. One in two people will be affected by dementia in their lifetime – whether by caring for someone with the diagnosis, developing it themselves or both
It often leaves people feeling overwhelmed and alone, pushed to their emotional, physical and financial limits.
Dementia UK is the specialist dementia nursing charity. Its specialist nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, tailored advice and support to help families care for their loved one and ensure no one faces dementia alone.
