Who can you spot in these Times pics from 20 years ago?
Playgroups and nurseries from across Irvine went on a huge adventure with Mia and Marco Mouse as part of North Ayrshire’s Children’s festival in late October 2004.
Children from Loudoun Montgomery Primary Nursery visited Cunninghame House in Irvine in 2004 for a very special introduction to some of the creepiest crawlies around. They met Fiona the Frog, Sammy the Snake and Cassie the Centipede at an event organised by Zoolab.
Greenwood Academy held a Wear Pink Day fundraiser for Breast Cancer in late October 2004.
Photography students in Kilwinning were delighted to see their pics selected for the annual James Watt College calendar. Irvine students Janet Wilson, Steve Lynn and Bill Brisbane, along with Kilwinning student Angela Gibson, are shown with their pics in November 2004.
Parents were encouraged to share books with babies during Bookstart Day 2004. A special event was held in Irvine’s Volunteer Rooms.
There were some spooky costumes on show in Kilwinning when a special Hallowe’en event was held at Cranberry Moss community centre.
