A MAN has been arrested after police raided a property in the Springside area.
The operation was carried out after officers obtained and executed a warrant at the home.
The intelligence-led operation resulted in a quantity of cocaine, cannabis and cash being recovered.
As a result, a 60-year-old male was arrested and charged in relation to being concerned in the supply of a controlled drugs. He is due to appear at court at a later date.
Sgt Thomson from Police Scotland Ayrshire's Locality Policing Team said: “This is a very significant recovery and sends a clear message that we will not tolerate drug dealing in our communities.
“Our officers are determined to protect members of the public from this harmful criminality, and this underlines that commitment.
"We will continue to work with the public and partner agencies to tackle this issue and make our communities safer.
